We can go out, again!
Only quite recently, the last of the Covid restrictions were abandoned, and suddenly the possibility of visiting a concert occurred. Splendid!

Jubilant violins
One of my favourite concertos is the concerto for two violins in D-flat, BWV 1043 by JS Bach. It’s great to listen to, travelling by car, or in an aeroplane high up above the clouds, Jubilant violins pick you up and take you away.
Bicycle trip
We went for a bicycle ride through town, and along the sea shore, recently. It was a bright, sunny, and cold day. A day in winter, with the atmosphere of a spring-day. Trees in wintertime
I like trees in every season, but in wintertime, one can really see the structure of a tree. All decoration has disappeared, only the essentials remain.

One of my children had, during childhood, sometimes questions about language of great importance to him. If unanswered he kept repeating them, over and over again, like:” if inham (cove) exists does uitham (tongue of land) also exist, and if it doesn’t exist, why not?”
